WHAT IS AN EXCLUSION?

The problem is not that critters are getting into your house, the real issue is that your house is allowing critters to get into it, and they will, until the entry points are sealed. To understand how to exclude squirrels, rats and other pests from a home, there must be a deep understanding of how homes are built in the N.E. Atlanta area. Our team is not only educated in the traits and behaviors of invading pests, but also in construction methods and your home’s vulnerable areas. The first step in sealing these areas is to schedule an inspection appointment with our state certified nuisance wildlife control experts. 

INSPECTION

Your technician will need roughly 1-1.5 hours to complete a thorough inspection of your home. During this time we will be documenting any evidence of critter activity as well as any current entry points or vulnerable areas. Upon completion of your inspection, your technician will provide you with a detailed report of problem areas as well as a quote for exclusion.

ATTIC EXCLUSION

Many homes are built with an open gap at the edge of the roof line. This gap is the perfect size for an unwanted rodent to enter your attic in an attempt to make it their new home. A proper attic exclusion will include sealing all of the roof edge including all ends, corners and valleys with a solid steel flashing as well as reinforcing any vents, attic fans, and other openings that may allow entry if not sealed properly.

BASEMENT/CRAWLSPACE EXCLUSION

Holes leading into the basement/crawlspace area provide easy access for critters to make their way into your home. These holes can be found around doors, vents, utility lines or low decks built against the home concealing hidden openings. 

During your inspection, our team will determine the type of foundation your home has as well as any potential weak points associated with that type of construction. Exclusion to these areas will eliminate entry points and prevent critters from gaining access to your home.
